A woman was attacked by a polar bear after jumping over the bars of an enclosure during feeding time. This woman recieved several bites on her arms and legs. The zookeepers tired to distract the bear, but at first wouldnt work, finally they were able to push the bear away , and the woman was pulled to safety. She was rushed to a hospital for treatment. The woman pulled this dangerous stunt, and nobody knows why?

POLAR BEARS!
The polar bear is the largest land predator in the world. They can be found in several places such as: The Arctic, Alaska, Denmark, Russia, Canada, and Greenway. In these countries there alot of people that hunt the polar bears, but were soon banned or either rule were set to how many u can hunt. The rules also set boundries to help saved the population of the polar bears. The hunting of the polar bears is one part of the problem why the population is diminishing. Another reason why polar bears are endangered or "threatened" is the ice caps are melting. http://endangeredpolarbear.com/

Liz, your articles are very informative. But how many polar bears are left in the world?
ReplyDeletebrandi, thank you, and there are about 25,000 polar bears left on earth today.
ReplyDeleteI like your profile and how cold does it have to be for the polar bear to live
ReplyDeleteuhmm thanks and it has to be like really cold .....
ReplyDeleteOh i see well do you know how many there use to be before this global warming thing?
ReplyDeletebrandi, there is said to be about 40,000 before the global warming issue.
ReplyDeletewow that is crazy if the global warming issue is still present, how long do you think it will take to kill off all of the polar bears?
ReplyDeletebrandi, well the depletion of the ozone actually started around like 1970's so it didnt take long for the number of how many there was before global warming and then how many are left to go down from about 40,000 to 25,000. So probably about 50 yrs.
ReplyDeleteWow that is insane thank you for all of the info you have shared.
